1. Who can join Tabla classes?

Anyone with an interest in Indian rhythm can join! We welcome children (5+ years), teens, adults, men/women & senior citizens too– no age limit to learn music!

2. Do I need any prior experience or musical background?

Not at all! Absolute beginners are most welcome. It is always good to start from scratch. We offer classes for Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.

3. I’m not from Bangalore, India. Can I still learn?

Yes! Our online platform connects students worldwide. At any given point of time, 30% of our students are learning from outside India.

4. I have a disability. Can I learn Music?

You should definitely be learning Music unless you have concerns with your hearing, sitting, and playing adequates.

5. Do I need to buy a set of Tabla before I enrol?

No, it’s not necessary to buy a Tabla set before enrolling. A Tabla will be provided for you to use during your class sessions.

6. How long is each class?

An Offline group class at the institute is typically 60 minutes long. A One-on-One online/offline class would span about 30 minutes.

7. What is the frequency & schedule?

Group Offline classes are on weekends, around 6 sessions (1 hr long) a month. Online classes are flexible.

8. Can I choose my own time slot?

NO for Group Offline classes. YES for Online classes.

9. How big is each batch?

Each batch consists of just 5–6 musically curious minds.

10. What if I miss classes?

It is difficult to schedule catch-up sessions, but you can extend some batches to make up time.

11. How are batches spread out?

Batches are a mix of Beginner & Intermediate students, focusing on individual growth in a group setting.

12. Are Tabla classes available online?

Absolutely! We offer LIVE one-on-one and group Tabla classes via Zoom.

13. What do I need for OFFLINE classes?

Your own complete self! And a Practical Notes book.

14. What do I need for ONLINE classes?

• A good Tabla set
• Stable internet connection
• Good AV Device
• Quiet space

16. Will I receive study material?

Yes! You will receive a tailor-made “TablaGyan Kosh” textbook, notes, and practice recordings.

17. Do you offer certifications?

Yes, we are affiliated with Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal.

18. How is progress tracked?

We use regular reviews, guided practice, and performances rather than rigid exams.

19. What is the learning journey like?

We follow the L.E.A.P. methodology (Learn, Enjoy, Apply, Perform).

20. What is the fee structure?

There is a one-time registration fee. Monthly fees vary based on Class Type, Mode, and Level.

21. Is there a Trial/Demo class available?

Yes! A chargeable trial/DEMO session is available for novice students.
